Terp Reel Guide
A Terp Reel is a collaboration that allows our residential community members to share their unique experiences, perspectives, and stories with the larger UMD family through our Instagram reels. The Instagram reel will showcase a day in a student’s life, a special event, or anything else that provides a glimpse into their UMD journey.
What You'll Do
- Showcase your day and share insights

- Offer an authentic view of your UMD experience
- Connect with other students on a personal level
campaign Join us in celebrating the different backgrounds, activities, and daily routines that shape life within our residential halls.
How it Works
- Sign up: Please complete the Google form provided. If you are chosen to become our Instagram host, our team will reach out to you.
- Create content: Each approved host will capture photos and record videos that showcase their unique Terps experience. They will provide a glimpse into their daily life on campus or explore intriguing themes.
- Share video: Once you have your videos, you can submit them to our shared drive. Our staff members will then review the content and arrange for timely posting.
- Get a $10 Terrapin Express: As a token of appreciation, the chosen host will receive a $10 Terrapin Express credit from us.
